I remember the exact spot I was standing when this happened. I was inside Dowagiac Union High School near the principals office ( I spent a lot of time there)- it was scary. We went to golf practice and saw helicopters fly over during the ‘no fly’ time and that made it even scarier.. I can’t imagine what those families went through at that time ... do you remember where you were when you first found out what was going on?!
